Lilywhites go down at home to Heckington

Skegness Town 2 Heckington United 3

The Lilywhites almost saved a point with a late fightback against Heckington United at Burgh Road.
United led 3-0 with six minutes to go when their defender Glen Robinson received his marching orders for an off-the-ball incident in the Skegness penalty area.
Sam Sleight stroked the penalty home before brother Jamie made it 3-2 with two minutes left.
Heckington took the lead in the 19th minute when he curled a free kick into the top corner of Michael Emery's goal. They doubled their advantage two minutes later with a Michael Musson goal.
The visitors should have gone further ahead, but skipper Andrew Collin put his penalty kick wide of the target.
Musson then added a second and his team's third before the home side rallied late in the game.
Skegness Town: Emery, Bartlett, Thorpe, S Sleight, Gowshall, Cartwright, Scutt, Lyon, Tuplin, J Sleight, Veall, Whittam, Vickers.
